Commercial Solar – ACD Northlakes (28kWp)
With a largely predominant daytime power consumption profile it was easy to make a big impact with Commercial Solar Power being installed on the roof.
Air Conditioning Direct (ACD) is a refrigeration and electrical wholesaler with a number of stores across Queensland, NT and WA.
Resourceful Energy were able to monitor their power consumption initially with a Fluke Power meter and customise a 20kWp system originally but we deliberately left their inverter with some upgrade room and we came along a year later to install 8kWp more on the Eastern side to capture more power early in the morning given their stores open at 7am – this 28kWp system now meets more than 80% of their total electricity needs.

EV Charger – Corinda
David from Corinda QLD needed a EV charger at home to charge his car via the sun
Currently he has an existing solar Power system that he is very happy with.
David called Resourceful Energy because he had just been informed that his new Polestar Electric Vehicle was only a few weeks away from being delivered.
Resourceful Energy were able to wire in an Occular Universal Charger from EVSE.
Giving David room to breath knowing he was prepared for the cars arrival.
Also providing a long lead that reaches the charge point irrespective to where the car is parked in the garage.
In the future David may need to upgrade his solar PV system, for now he can monitor how this goes using the EV.
